This is certainly a very green piece. I'm not sure you made the best choice using such a shallow d.o.f., I think you could've shown the pattern over the whole image. It's a great start though. I apologise for sounding patronising.

I actually took versions with bigger dof but I liked this one best. I guess I'm going through a shallow dof phase :lol: But thanks for sharing your opinion about it, I appreciate that you wrote what you thought :nod:

And this will also be part of a series where I try to find something new in mundane objects and palying with dof and shapes it brings out is part of that process too :)

Yeah, I've had an obsession with the mundane, but until I can afford, beg, steal or borrow a macro lense that's not really going to go anywhere. I like your idea though!
