Artist's Comments

He flew too close to the sun..

I got the idea for the name from the colors and the wingy nature of the pages.

I shot Book of life last fall and have all this time thought about shooting a color version too. So today I played with the book and some lights in studio and here's one of the results :) The colors are original. In Bedtimes stories (from the same shoot) I adjusted whitebalance in raw-conversion.

Lot's of love to ~ssundell who very patiently flipped the pages for me over and over again

No matter what they think
or what they do,
No matter what they feel
Or what they see in you,
You're gonna get there,
Whatever they say,
And nobody's going to stand,
in the way
:iconbirgan:
hey I like this one a lot!! did you do anything for the pages on the right side to disappear by the light or was it taken like that?

Thatīs great Hanna, love the colors (the intense orange) and that blur feeling of movement. Great work my dear friend.

Beautifully captured! I love how it's not all one big blur but there are some pages, perfectly spaced, that you can see very well. Nice colors and lighting, too. Well done!

I also like the warm colours of this one and fuzzy look. I think these photos turned out really well.

No, it was taken like that. It's the lights and the movement of the pages that create the strange effect. Only couple of the shots I took has it this strongly.
Thank you for the comment :)
