One of my seashells. It's strange to think that once it protected a living thingie.

Wonderful colours...

Wonderful colours... Weird to think that something so seemingly fragile could offer protection.

Fantastic, love the focus on the edge and the way they look like cog's teeth

Very colourful and summery. However, as usual, I think you've not used a deep enough dof, I think the whole shell should be in focus. Mind you, I say this about all your recent stuff, so I think I'll just have to learn that you're not going to change it.

I love this so much. The colours are so delicious, and the blending in the background looks cool. Seashells, mmm..

If cats could talk they wouldn't.

Well I was so close that it wouldn't have been in focus all the way anyway (even if I'd use smallest aperture) so I decided to take it like this. You should have seen the one I took with the biggest aperture, now that really had shallow dof ;) Don't loose your hope yet, maybe I someday change to the f64 style or something. Except that my lenses don't have f 64 :giggle:

And one point is that when shooting at home without any lightning equipment or bacdrops or decent space it's harder to shoot with really big dof. In this shot you'd see quite many details of my kitchen too and that would definitely ruin the picture :)

I guess the fragileness depends on where you comapre it.. what was inside it must have been really really fragile.
Thanks for the comment :)
